George Nolan is a strategic communicator and lived-experience leader dedicated to amplifying second-chance stories and building systems of opportunity for justice-impacted individuals. As the Director of Marketing and Outreach at New Freedom, George leads storytelling and engagement strategies that elevate the voices of those often left unheard—aligning digital campaigns, events, and outreach with the organization’s core mission of restoration and reentry.

A U.S. Marine veteran and formerly incarcerated individual, George’s personal journey has shaped his passion for service, transformation, and hope. He is the founder of Refine2Inspire, where he delivers motivational keynotes, workforce readiness coaching, and trauma-informed hiring guidance to institutions nationwide. His signature "two-for-one" model ensures every paid engagement funds a no-cost training for vulnerable communities.

George also co-hosts the Outlaws to Advocates Podcast, where real stories of resilience and personal growth challenge stigma and inspire systemic change.



With a 4.0 GPA in Substance Use and Addiction Counseling at Rio Salado College, multiple certifications in CBT and motivational interviewing, and an unwavering dedication to impact, George Nolan is proof that your past does not define your potential—it prepares you to lead others forward.
